NLA argues against compulsory licensing

The National Landlords Association has argued against compulsory licensing of landlords. Arguing that landlords provide a vital lifeline to councils struggling to meet housing demands in their area, the NLA warns against additional bureaucracy. The association instead is promoting its own accreditation scheme for landlords which is already in use by over 40 councils.
