Great news for Rightmove dominating across the board as the number 1 property portal website; however as mentioned earlier in the week by Glenn Ackroyd in his post on Property118 The letting portals providing the best exposure; Rightmove only accounts for just over half the total market. So depending on who you are advertising your property too, will help you decide what other portals to use to gain exposure to the right tenant.
In the UK market, Rightmove dominates. In fact this has really not changed for the last 5 – 10 years. Back in 2005, the property portal market had four main players – Rightmove, Primelocation, Findaproperty and Propertyfinder.
