BANK-LEVEL SECURITY

RentPro is hosted on servers within secure data centres, and all data exchanged between your browser and our servers is transferred over secure server connections using bank-level security. This is denoted by the padlock icon within the browser which most web users will be familiar with, offering peace of mind about the security of your data. Sensitive information such as bank account details are also encrypted again within the database.

CLOUD COMPUTING POWER

Our servers are hosted within "the cloud" by Amazon Web Services, with unparalleled levels of security, resilience and backup. The cloud platform also gives us the ability to scale seamlessly as our client base grows, so system performance is always optimum. With us taking care of the hardware and backups you escape the technical headaches that typically come with having a server within your own office.

More and more applications are moving to cloud environments as they offer major advantages over traditional desktop software in terms of security, accessibility and performance. However, if you have your own dedicated IT team and do wish to install the application within your own server environment, then you may want to consider our RentPro Server option.

CONSTANTLY MONITORED

Our servers are monitored 24×7 and we have fully tested disaster recovery procedures in place to restore service as quickly as possible in the event of hardware failures. Since the application and data is hosted on our servers you never need to worry about viruses, hard disk failures or lost laptops again.

We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (registration number Z1305988), and conform to the legal obligations laid out in the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. This governs everything relating to the physical storage and security of your data, as well as how this data is used.
