1. What does my monthly subscription include?
Your RentPro monthly subscription includes regular software upgrades which roll out new enhancements to the product as it evolves in line with our clients' requirements. It also includes an introductory level of support, amounting to 2 hours of phone support in the first month. Minimal support is usually required due to the online manual and introductory training session, but if necessary additional product support and on-site training is available.
2. How long does it take to get up and running?
We are currently working on automatic online ordering with immediate setup, which we expect to be launched via our website in April 2008. In the meantime, once you place your order a member of our sales team will contact you and walk through a short series of questions about your business in order to configure the product to suit your business model. The application will be ready for use as soon as your setup fee has been paid.
3. What payment methods do you take?
We accept the initial setup and configuration fee by cheque, credit card or bank funds transfer. The ongoing monthly subscription may be paid monthly via direct debit from your bank or from your credit card.
4. Can I suggest product improvements or new features?
We actively encourage feedback from all our RentPro clients. If there is a new feature you would like to see incorporated into RentPro you can make a suggestion to our team and it may be incorporated into a later release of RentPro.
5. What is the minimum contract term?
The minimum contract term for the RentPro licence is 12 months.
6. How secure is my data?
Your business data, which may obviously include sensitive details such as bank account numbers and transaction values, is passed between the browser and the RentPro server over a secure connection. With a secure connection, your data is encrypted so that it cannot be easily read by anyone who might intercept it between your computer and the server. Additionally, all data is stored on a dedicated server located in a secure datacentre in London docklands.
7. Is my data backed up?
Your data is backed up nightly from the RentPro server to two locations - locally onto another server within the datacentre to protect against hardware failure, and also to a file server at K-Point's offices in case of a catastrophic attack or disaster at the datacentre location. From within the application you also have the facility to backup all application data at any time, and download a copy onto your local computer at your office for added peace of mind. |
