Where are the RentPro servers located?

The RentPro application is hosted across multiple servers hosted on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform - a robust, secure and scalable infrastructure which allows us to deliver consistently high performance to all our clients. The AWS platform is used by some of the world's biggest companies to power their websites and provide them with reliable IT hardware solutions. The servers are physically located in Amazon's Western Europe datacentre in Dublin.

How is my account data backed up?

All data stored within RentPro is stored within Amazon's platform and continually backed up to the Amazon S3 storage facility. We also take a nightly backup of this data to our own offices, so that we can rebuild the platform from scratch if for some reason Amazon disappeared - which isn't going to happen! And for your complete peace of mind you can export your data from within RentPro at any time.

How can I be sure I can trust you with my precious data?

Our company, K-Point Internet Solutions Ltd, is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (registration number Z1305988), and conforms to the legal obligations laid out in the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. This governs everything relating to the physical storage and security of your data, as well as how this data is used.
