Breaching Right to Rent rules to become criminal offence

Letting agents urged to ensure eviction notices are correct

From 1st December 2016 it will become a criminal offence to knowingly breach Right to Rent checks in the UK. The date was announced by the Home Office yesterday with new criminal offences being created to deal with rogue landlords and agents who let to illegal immigrants.
