The chief executive of the National Landlords Association, Richard Lambert,says confidence in landlord’s’ business expectations has tumbled by more than a third over the past year – down from 67 per cent to an all-time low of 43 per cent, which is 5% lower than after the financial crash in 2007.  This he claims is as a result of the actions taken by Chancellor George Osborne in last year’s Budget and Autumn Statement.
