Could this be a crunch week for letting sector?

With the UK budget statement being delivered later this week by George Osborne it remains to be seen if measures will be introduced to close at least some of the tax breaks given to the but-to-let sector. Tax deductible expenses open to private landlords include mortgage interest, agency fees, insurance premiums and service charges. Some are calling for these tax breaks to be removed with the money redirected to providing more social housing.
