Majority of landlords to maintain current rent levels

A recent survey by HomeLet reports that 91% of landlords are going to keep rents for existing tenancies static during the first six months of 2016. This findings appear to imply that landlords have a preference for keeping good tenants over a longer period rather than seeking additional income. Meanwhile, the latest HomeLet Rental Index revealed that, over the three months to November 2015, rents remained flat or fell slightly in 10 out of 12 UK regions.
