Three quarters of the public believe there is a continuing housing crisis in Britain

According to a new poll carried out on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Housing, 75% of people feel there is a housing crisis.  This is felt mostly sharply by those in London and those that rent, with 81% of those who live in rented accommodation agreeing that there is a housing crisis in Britain and 60% of those who rent felt there is a housing crisis in their local area.
