Technical Customer Service Advisor

As a Technical Customer Service Advisor you will be representing RentPro, assisting and advising customers via phone and email with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to provide detailed product information and resolve issues. The role will involve supporting customers with pre-sale, during-sale and after-sale queries related to all products, brands and services, and continuously improving processes and support material.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  1. Educated to degree / HND level OR have 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  2. Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills (both oral and written) and to liaise both externally with customers, and internally with other team members.
  3. Strong IT skills.
  4. Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, have high standards in all aspects of work, and demonstrate keen attention to detail.
  5. Ability and willingness to absorb new information and use and share it effectively.
  6. Ability to work both independently and within a team, and must be highly motivated.
  7. Previous customer service experience is desirable.
  8. To be considered for this position you must be eligible to work in Northern Ireland.

PHP Developer

The role offers an excellent opportunity to an experienced PHP developer in web development within a small but growing software company. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle including system architecture design, programming, bug-fixing and functional enhancements.

Experience and Skill Requirements

Essential

  1. Honours degree in Computer Science, Software Development or related degree with significant IT/software development component.
  2. At least 1 year’s commercial experience in PHP/MySQL web development.
  3. In-depth experience of object-oriented programming.
  4. Excellent organisational and communication skills (both oral and written).
  5. Ability and willingness to absorb new information and use it effectively.
  6. Must be willing to work independently and must be highly motivated.
  7. To be considered for this position you must be eligible to work in Northern Ireland.

Desirable

  1. Honours degree at 2.1 or above.
  2. Knowledge and prior experience with MVC frameworks.
  3. Knowledge and prior experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
  4. Knowledge and prior experience with Git and software development best practices.
